As some of you might know, my day job is at an eye clinic. Besides being a secretary and desk clerk, I also do a lot of the measuring: I see corneas and retinas all day, every day. Naturally, I know a lot about things that involve eyeballs. I myself am night blind, something I only found out when playing test subject for a new aberrometer. I mean, I knew I couldn’t see very well in the dark, but I thought that was normal because you know, it’s fucking dark.
Before getting my driver’s license, in came the glasses. Back in 2012, I got a very nice pair of Max Mara frames that, together with the adjusting of the lenses, made me about €320 lighter. My insurance only covers about €50 of that so frankly I didn’t even bother filling out the paper work. But as you know, you can always get a better deal on the internetz!
