Oldies but goodies and blogger posing 101.

April 8, 2015

80816Hey tout le monde! Daylight saving time is ON which means more time to shoot pictures when I come home from work! Which is exactly what I did the other day – hurray! In the backdrop today is the museum for modern art in Antwerp, M HKA. I’ve lived a stone’s throw away from this place for almost two years now and I’ve only visited twice since. Crazy!

Because I am getting super bored of all of my Winter coats, I went digging in my wardrobe and found this beauty from Zara that I got late 2012 – I keep forgetting how much I love this coat. Probably because it’s gotten a size too small for me and I can’t close it anymore. Oops… Anyway, on to the pictures!

This is my “no paps plz” pose. Paps obviously being paparazzi, not pap smears because those are necessary, yo.

It was either forcing this arm on top or switching all of my bracelets, which would be a blatant lie (you know I’m truthful about my OOTDs) and quite a nuisance.

So other than awkwardly posing in the middle of a vacant parking lot I’ve had a really nasty cold, which is partly why I’m hiding my face a bit – my nose is as bright as Rudolph’s. Also I felt like I either looked like a full or a half moon in all of the shots we took SO YEAH. Seriously considering getting a fringe again, but that’s a decision I will not take lightly after last time’s fiasco. But then I look at this picture of me when I was 7 and I get envious of that little girls’ Freja Beha worthy ‘do. Where did it go wrong??! Totes up for trying out a SLS and paraben free hair routine if that’ll make my mop a little fresher/bouncier/livelier – though I guess, in the end, I don’t really have anything to complain about…

Let’s just get a little less volume around the waist first, preferably before I jet off to Crete to spend a week basking in the sun and all inclusive cocktails. Next month is going to be all about detoxing so I make plenty of room for the endless stream of pancakes I’ll be aiming at my mouth. FUCK YES.

You can really work those olive-brown tones so well! That coat esp, I’m impressed you’ve made it last so long! I’ve had a few beloved things from Zara over the years and they don’t seem to hold up to multiple washes :(

Well I’ve actually had to reattach the clasp twice already. Boo Zara, boo!

Een schande dat je deze jas niet vaker draagt. ‘t Is een schoontje! En ook ik ben als fashion blogger suuuuper blij met de late zonsondergang. Zoveel meer tijd om te shooten! :D xo
